Building Payvidence – A Receipts & Sales Platform

We worked closely with Techpira Evolutions Limited to build their digital product Payvidence, a receipts, invoices and inventory management platform built for Nigerian Small and medium enterprises. Payvidence simplifies day-to-day business operations with powerful tools for receipts and invoices, business management, sales tracking, and reports and insights. Built with the unique needs of local businesses in mind, Payvidence helps SMEs work smarter, stay organized, and make informed decisions with ease.

From crafting an intuitive UI/UX design to mapping out workflows and developing the mobile app, web app, and admin management system, we managed every stage of the project while working closely with the parent company. We also designed the website to ensure a consistent brand experience across platforms. Our team conducted thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization to deliver a seamless user experience before successfully launching the app on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

Building the Payvidence Application

Thanks to our strong and ongoing collaboration with the parent company on previous projects, Techpira Evolutions Limited once again entrusted us with the development of their digital product, Payvidence. Payvidence is a comprehensive digital platform designed to empower Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria by streamlining their daily sales operations. Key features include receipt generation, invoice creation, inventory management, and much more.

Upon receiving the project scope from the company, we meticulously reviewed it and crafted a detailed plan and set of work guidelines. We then proceeded with the UI/UX design phase, which underwent several rounds of review and revisions before final approval. The development process for the mobile application (both Android & iOS), admin management system, web application, and website design began immediately. Throughout each phase, we conducted thorough unit testing, integrating all features and running a final testing session in collaboration with the parent company fixing bugs and preparing for deployment to both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

The key deliverables for the project included:

Once the mobile application was fully developed and ready for deployment on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, we proceeded with the submission process. The first step was to submit the app for review by both Google and Apple, marking a key milestone in the project.

The review process, however, took longer than anticipated. Both platforms conducted a thorough examination of the app, especially due to the integration of in-app payment functionality, which handles user subscriptions for various pricing plans. This feature required a detailed review, as both Google and Apple have strict guidelines around in-app payments and subscription models to ensure compliance with their respective policies.

Google, after a more straightforward review, quickly approved the mobile application, allowing the parent company to proceed with the launch on the Google Play Store. Apple, on the other hand, spent additional time reviewing the app to ensure it met all of their stringent policy guidelines. This included checking that the in-app payment system was functioning correctly, ensuring that user data was securely handled, and verifying compliance with Apple’s privacy and security standards. Given the complexity of these checks, the approval process with Apple took longer than expected.

Throughout this time, we maintained close communication with both Google and Apple’s review teams to address any concerns and provide the necessary clarifications. Once Apple completed their comprehensive review, the app was finally approved, marking the official release of Payvidence on both platforms. The mobile application was now available for users to download from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, making it accessible to a wider audience of SMEs in Nigeria.

This successful deployment marked a significant achievement in the project, and we were thrilled to see the app available for public use, empowering businesses with an efficient tool to manage their daily sales operations.
