We worked closely with Bundlegram Ventures over six months to conceptualize, design, develop, and deploy their digital product, Bundlegram. This web application simplifies the payment experience by allowing users to conveniently and securely pay for various essential services from their homes or offices. The services offered include data top-ups for major Nigerian telecom providers such as MTN, GLO, Airtel & 9mobile, airtime top-ups for the same providers, and bill payments for Cable TV, electricity, internet, education, and more.
During the process, we collaborated extensively with Bundlegram Ventures to ensure that every aspect of the application met their needs and expectations. Our team spent countless hours designing an intuitive user interface, developing robust backend functionality, rigorously testing the application for performance and security, and ironing out any bugs before deploying the final product to the production server. In addition to the user-facing application, we also developed an efficient admin management portal to streamline the internal operations of Bundlegram Ventures. This portal enables the company to manage transactions, monitor user activity, and ensure the smooth operation of the platform. Our collaboration with Bundlegram Ventures was a testament to our commitment to delivering high-quality digital products that truly make a difference in people’s lives.
Building The Application
The company aimed to create a simple, secure, user-friendly application for their customers. Bundlegram would allow customers to create an account seamlessly and instantly purchase airtime and affordable data for Airtel, Glo, MTN, and 9Mobile at discounted prices. Pay your prepaid or postpaid meter electricity bills. Subscribe to DSTV, GOTV, and StarTimes at cheaper rates. Pay your Spectranet and Smile bills, buy Airtime E-PIN for all networks, and carry out other transactions conveniently. We worked on the user interface (UI/UX), which was reviewed and approved. After approval, we began designing and developing the web applications and admin management portal. We conducted extensive testing, made necessary modifications, and debugged to ensure a simple user experience.
The web application offers a range of features to enhance user experience. These features include a streamlined login and registration process, allowing users to create an account and choose a unique username. The application also provides a secure wallet for managing financial transactions and notifications to keep users informed. Additionally, users can easily top-up their data for major Nigerian mobile network providers such as MTN, GLO, Airtel, and 9mobile at affordable rates. The application also facilitates airtime top-ups for these same network providers, ensuring seamless connectivity for users. Furthermore, the web application supports bill payments for various services, including cable TV, electricity, internet, education, and airtime e-PIN. This comprehensive range of features aims to provide users with a convenient and efficient platform for managing their digital and financial needs.
The platform offers a variety of features to cater to user needs. These include Agent Registration, allowing individuals to sign up as agents for the platform, enabling them to perform various transactions. Users can also initiate withdrawals, view their transaction history, and monitor their wallet history. Furthermore, the platform offers robust security measures, such as Single-browser login, pin verification, transaction confirmation, BVN (Bank Verification Number) verification, and email verification. Additionally, users can change their password and PIN, reset their PIN, and deactivate their account.
After designing and development, we worked closely with the parent company to perform rigorous testing of the system, end to end which covers both the user’s web application and the admin management portal, bugs were resolved and modifications were made to improve the system. We implemented stringent security measures in compliance with industry best practices to ensure users with malicious intentions are deterred from using the system ensuring the safety of the system and users’ data.
The agent features offered discounted prices on all features for users but at a discounted price, but they are required to pay a one-time account upgrade fee to become an agent. The admin management portal was equipped with comprehensive functionalities essential for the efficient management of customer data, transactions, customer payments, and various other aspects of the company’s operations. After a comprehensive testing process.
In addition, we conducted scalability testing to assess the system’s ability to handle increased workloads, security testing to fortify the project security implementations, and end-to-end testing to guarantee the reliability of the entire project. The team dedicated significant effort to addressing software bugs, refining system parameters, and seamlessly integrating third-party components. This comprehensive approach aimed to guarantee the system’s peak performance the application successfully met all the criteria and requirements for deployment, and we deployed it to the production server.
